Catching a stray/feral cat?

In my friends neighborhood, there are literally hundred of cats. She lives in a townhouse area, and the cats love to go into the crawl spaces, they live there. The cats will bathe in the sun on peoples porches during the day, and they are always really scared when approached. Except one cat, which is really more of a kitten, that just kinda walks away, he/she doesn't sprint away like the others. This cat, which I have personally named Henry, is skinny. What's odd about it is that the cats will sit on one persons porch, then when they get scared, they run around the edge of the building (the house that they lay on is the second to last house in the row of townhouses, so it isn't far) and into one of the back porch type areas. Every home has one, they are about jail cell sized and fenced in. The cats will run into the last house's (the last house in the row of houses, the neighbor to the house that the cats sit on) back porch type thing. If you look in the house that they ran to's back porch, you see a wide open crawl space. Anyway, they live there. There is about 3-4 cats that I have seen that live there. One, is, of course, Henry. He seems really nice, and you can tell that he most likely is a stray and not just a feral cat. For the last two days I've been chilling on the other side of the fence, waiting for a chance to catch him. Today I brought him some food, and stuck it threw the gate. The gate is locked, I have tried to open it...It doesn't budge. He'll just sit there and intently listen to my voice as I talk to him. Though he is still a little skeptical of me, you can tell, he is still better with me than I would imagine with anyone else. I want to catch him, for the fact that he in so skinny, and that he deserves a better life than to live in the wild. I read somewhere that wild cats only live for a maximum of 4 years. He will sit on the other side of the gate, in arms reach, you know, if the fence wasn't there. Today I nearly got him to eat out of my hand, before I just gave up and gave him the food threw the gate. I know that once my family, or Megans family, (my friend that lives in the townhouses) sees the cat, they'll immediately decide to keep it. They would never have the heart to just tell us to send it back to the wild. I understand that the cat could be dangerous, and I don't care. I'm positive that when we get the money, and I'm talking about if we were to keep the cat, we'll take him/her to the vet and try to get it's vaccines and get the kitty all set up. So my question really is how should I go about catching it without it hating or being frightened of me forever. I know that some of you might think that it is a bad idea, but I know what "animal control" does when it gets strays. I will simply not stand for it. Laughing Gas Fainting?

I play a ton of tennis and at times have nearly fainted on the court for no clear reason. I learned that if I drink gatorade before and during matches I don't have any problems, so the issue may lie with sugar consumption. But I recently went to the dentist to have my wisdom teeth removed, and started to pass out during the laughing gas. I didn't panic because of the mask nor did I panic because of the IV I was getting at the same time. I felt far better after I was switched back to breathing normal O2. I hadn't eaten or drinking anything in maybe 17 hours, so could the nitrous oxide have reduced my oxygen intake enough to resemble a state of exercise, and an obvious lack of sugar caused me to nearly faint? Or is that the purpose of laughing gas, making you feel faint? One thing is for sure, I'm familiar with the feeling that I had, one of sickness and confusion. I can't imagine that's the purpose of the gas, as others who have had similar procedures describe a warm interesting sensation. Thanks!

I started cutting at age 12 later to find out I had depression, I take Prozac for it. When I was 13 I started having paranoia and agoraphobia so they upped the dose on my Prozac which helps with my paranoid feelings.... Though I still act upon my paranoia at times, such as taping my camera lens so people cannot watch me or even dialing 911 just because I think something bad will happen. The reason why I am asking this is because I was just trying to fall asleep and all of a sudden a really loud voice came in my head and I woke right up... I don't think that's normal and at the moment I am hearing clear voices in my head, I use to imagine voices but they never each had their own individual tones and dialects... It was sort of like I was just thinking oddly to myself... But now the voices are so clear and annoying that I just can't handle it. I'm 14 going on 15 years old, do you think maybe my depression could really be anything else?? I also have sever mood swings if someone upsets me... One little thing and I'm breaking things, thinking about cutting again, and keeping myself from all humanity.

So, I worked with someone last Summer and we became close friends. I thought he was cute but also knew he had a girlfriend and I respect that, so I didn't pursue anything. About halfway through the Summer a customer started being sexually suggestive and pretty vulgar in his speech towards me and when I told my friend he got all "Me big man, me beat bad man up", please understand that my friend has never been in any physical altercations, let alone wanted to instigate one. Then, he hung out with me when I was on shift and he was off shift making sure the customer that was bothering me didn't have the chance, and even blew off his girlfriend to hang out and make sure all was okay. I thought it was sweet and kind of out of character for him but really, I didn't think too much of it until the last day of work when he started mumbling about sex and that he thinks he's too thin and how that worries him as he put it "With the ladies", then he lifted his shirt up walked towards me and said "See? Don't you think I'm too thin?". I said "Well, no, not really, I mean you're thin but not emaciated or anything.". As this whole thing played out I was sitting there going "What the hell's going on today?" as I'd had a series of rather odd things happen that particular day. That night he came over and we watched movies, he was acting weird, playing with his hair, I kept catching him looking at me when he didn't think I was watching, then we were on my computer and I was going to burn some cd's for his drive to go see his girlfriend (4 hour drive) and he called me by his girlfriend's name, stammered and said "I should get to bed". I didn't really know what to do, said "Oh, okay... Let me clear out.", I went to go to bed and he said "Wait, let's watch another movie.", I said "I thought you had to be to bed like, 5 hours ago to get on the road so you're not late meeting your girlfriend?", all he said was "It's cool." and put a new dvd in to watch. Since that night I wasn't sure what was going on, he kind of disappeared then would show up, then write on facebook, then call at random, and most recently I got a call from him saying he wanted to come back down and spend time together this Summer. I started cutting at age 12 later to find out I had depression, I take Prozac for it. When I was 13 I started having paranoia and agoraphobia so they upped the dose on my Prozac which helps with my paranoid feelings.... Though I still act upon my paranoia at times, such as taping my camera lens so people cannot watch me or even dialing 911 just because I think something bad will happen. The reason why I am asking this is because at the moment I am hearing clear voices in my head, I use to imagine voices but they never each had their own individual tones and dialects... It was sort of like I was just thinking oddly to myself... But now the voices are so clear and annoying that I just can't handle it. I'm 14 going on 15 years old, do you think maybe my depression could really be anything else?? I also have sever mood swings if someone upsets me... One little thing and I'm breaking things, thinking about cutting again, and keeping myself from all humanity.

I'm having a lot of trouble putting my iPod Touch into DFU mode?

OK so i have had an ipod touch for a while and last year i jailbroke it. It went into safety mode, and i panicked and instead of just restoring it, i updated it, thus making it impossible to jailbreak from jailbreakme. I have tried multiple times with different softwares, and it just dosnt go into dfu. I got an iphone 2 weeks ago and out of curiosity, i tried putting that into dfu mode and it worked. 1st try. i think there is something wrong with my ipod, but everythinh else functions perfectly. i have tried to put it into dfu so many times and ik im doing it rite. is there anyway to jailbreak w.o dfu? why is this even hapening? please help!!!

I gave my 2 year old a tsp of ibuprofen at right around 7 pm last night and he woke up burning up about 10 min till midnight but in my half asleep and without glasses state I had misread the clock and thought it had been long enough and gave him another tsp. I'm an 18 year old recent graduate. I got hired to work at mcdonalds at the beginning of my senior year. I wasnt very well trained, the crew trainer was a guy around my age at the time and there was another trainee who was a year younger (she also complained about the lack of effort on his part). All he would do is flirt, which got very annoying. After my 4 hour/4 day training week i got transfered to the mcdonalds im currently at. At the start it was very difficult i had to learn everything as i went on because when i asked for help the managers would get annoyed one even accused me of being a whinner, which i most certainly am not! So i kept my mouth shut after that, when i made i mistake i learned from it and even though it made them very angry i ignored it. Ive gotten 3 write ups so far, and it upsets me so much. All my co workers have been working there for years, out of the new crew members im the only one whos stuck around for so long. Ive wanted to quit so many times but i dont because the money is very much needed at home. Just last week i graduated on wednesday, on tuesday one of my managers calls me and says "Where are you? Had you any idea your suppost to be working right now?" Never had i been scheduled to work on a tuesday i mostly worked weekends and one or two days of the week. I had never before missed work and when i do work im always 30 mins early (being late irritates me) I told her i must of misread my schedule and apologized. She told me i was getting a write up for not going. i let it go that time and decided not to be so hard on myself. On saturday i was scheduled to work, when i went back on sunday a manager told me i had yet ANOTHER write up for being short 2 dollars and 84 cents. So i got suspended for a week!!!!!!!! I am aware you can only be short 2 dollars but one of my other co workers was over 5 dollars and she didnt get a write up because she got a perfect score on both of our mistery shoppers. I hate how they do this!! i am sick of mcdonalds i feel really stupid working there, can somebody please tell me what i should do?

Super nervous for work this summer?

I got a job to work at camp this summer but I'm really anxious. I've worked two years so far and this will be my third. I'm not nervous about my performance. I'm nervous about people. What happened when you completely tore your ACL?

I am 16 and I tore my ACL and meniscus playing soccer and when it happened I could hear a very loud noise, just as if something was ripping. I was able to jog on it a little bit but I could tell that it didnt feel normal. Often times when I was walking around my knee would randomly give out on me and I would stumble a little bit. I would say if you are doing box hops that is a pretty good sign because I didnt even do that until about 4 months after surgery. You may have a partial tear which is nothing to be worried about if you are not playing agressive sports. And many times MRI's can be misread by doctors. For example my mom tore her ACL in a sking accident about 6 years ago and the doctors thought it was nothing. Later on she found out that she actually did tear her ACL but she decided not to have surgery. If you dont play sports it is not necessary to have the surgery especially if you arent feeling too much pain because that will get better with time. If you are feeling pain in your IT band I suggest getting a foam roller and lay on your side and roll out your IT band. It helps a lot! Goodluck!

I didn't misread it as you have to turn your head to look in my office so it was obvious when he was looking. We then started to do the "hi" thing. I installed Ubuntu, removing windows, as I must have misread on the Ubuntu site, as I thought it said you could go back to windows after installing Ubuntu. So I installed Ubuntu and I dont like it. Can I be fired at work for an undiagnosed medical condition?

its been tried multiple times before, but its too complicated of a concept that is very difficult to program. most that try end up just making a visual programming language lwith drag and drop loops and conditions and objects, but the best of this I've seen is VisualBasic.net. and even that from Microsoft needs programming. another way would be to use some sort of AI to write your programs for you, but that would end up being more complicated than programming itself, for other users. Its a great idea m, that if done right could be easily profitable if you do the right marketing. I tried many different ways of accomplishing this a few years ago, but the key problem was that its interface was too complicated to handle, and if a person is too lazy to learn some real programming then they won't be too happy reading manuals to figure out how to use a program that programs for them. But if you wish to continue, I commend you in your efforts and say good luck on this and any other future endeavours.

How do you deal with self paranoia and trust issues in relationships?

I have been dating a guy for almost half a year now, and I absolutely adore him. He is amazing, and I couldn't imagine being without him. I get pains in my arms and chest when I am due for a run. I allow myself to run once every 3 days and by the third day the pain starts and I get headaches. I also get sluggish and moody. While running, the endorphins kick in and I can feel the pain go away. After I run, I feel awesome. Has anyone ever heard of such strong physical withdrawal symptoms from running? It's like being addicted to drugs for me. I've never done drugs, but I imagine this is what it is like.

I suggest you get looking now while stock take sale are on until the end of the month and you will pick up a bargain on any brand? wel if you do music and photoshop, i would suggest a Mac Pro, but if out of you price range look at the PC side, Acer have just released a version of the iPad, which clicks into hinges to look like a laptop, not sure on pricing, but it could be worth a look? Toshiba, Sony are other good brands, although I mention Acer I did have a bad experience with their after service for a customer repair, as in over charging, then trying to get a refund to for ages, and it was all because their work docket that came back to me had no pricing for repairs and they wanted money up front in a ball park $100 price range. i was a great student when i was in elementary school until 5th grade when i got kicked out my class and was put in another class where i became lazy and stopped doing anything i failed the math test and that year i had an evaluation because i had a superintendent suspension and the guy who evaluated was cool and after i found out i failed he said if i got a letter stating i need help i would get an iep and he would pass me , so my mom did the emergency got me the iep and i passed then when i got to middle school i had to start going to a program where if i did all her work she would promote me not mattering what my report card looked like as long as i passed the test LOL so you can only imagine what i used to do in class haha i used to only go to have fun and get in trouble because i was guaranteed to pass so i breezed through middle school got to high school where they tried to place me in special education because in 8th grade i got superintended suspended again and when i got evaluated i didn't want to take the test lol it was 3 and i was not trying to stay in school finishing a test i used to also smoke allot of weed i was addicted for real and then when i got to high school i quit the drugs but they placed me in special ed 7 student classrooms i really got sick of going i was embarrassed annoyed everything then this year they placed me in night school and i really dropped out i'm only 16 idk what to do with my life i got a job for the summer but then what my mom was really getting on me this morning and everything she said to me was true wtf am i going to do all my friends dropped out smoke weed some have jobs but all live with their parents and if this is how they live now that they have a lil bit of money because of their jobs and have to worry about no bills since they live with their parents i can only imagine me my mom constantly threatens of kicking me out imagine when the day does come then what? i get stressed thinking about it and i lock myself in my room and stay awake all night and sleep all day just to not think about tomorrow :( i'm sorry for the spelling and grammar is just im a little upset right now . btw i live in ny bronx
