Baby Food Question For Seven Months?

Hi, I have a seven month old son, and he will be eight months on July 10th. So He is crawling and sitting up good, and he is trying to pull up a little. Is it okay, would you imagine to feed him the second and third stage Gerber Baby food? Since Second stages is for sitters (he is sitting) and third stages is for crawling (he is crawling, also), It should be okay, right??
