I am a widow, aged 42. When should I remove my wedding ring?

I don't want to remove it. I love my husband and don't imagine moving on at all and finding someone else. But it's a way for a person to know if another is single. There doesn't seem to be any information around to tell you what to do. I know that everyone is different and I feel very much married still, even though he isn't with me. It's not really a problem. I want to wear it. I just don't want to live forever on my own and want one day to attract someone. I hope one day that I will want that and not live the rest of my life, knowing that the best of my love life was over when I was still quite young. I'd love to have advice from someone in my position about what to do. I have a young son, aged 13, who is such great company. But one day he'll flee the nest. At the moment, I live my life to the full and do so much to make sure that I live it as my husband would want me to. So don't worry about me on that score.
