When you cancel an online purchase on Walmart's website, money is returned to your credit card right?

This is the first time using Walmart's online shopping, I paid with credit card and I immediately cancelled my order five minutes later when I misread something. When I cancelled it, it never said anything about a refund or money return to the credit card. When I used online customer service, it gave me an automated message which didn't help at all...Can somebody please help me
