Would it weird you out if an iconic NFL player got signed to a new team?

Like imagine the Colts dropping Peyton Manning and him getting picked up by the Cardinals, or Ray Lewis getting signed to the Patriots or something. Kinda like how Jerry Rice went to the Raiders his last few years or Joe Montana went to the Chiefs. Wouldn't that sort of weird you out?
