Antibiotics please help?

hey i misread my antibiotics on the packet says take two twice a day i have been taking only 2 tablets not the 4 it says i should be should i have been taking for about little over a week now Eryc 250mg please help should i stop taking them or somthing is it dangerous? i mean i have been taking less the the recommonded on it not more. please help
